Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.

These Terms & Conditions govern all vehicle rentals, bookings, and related services provided by Eaze Car Rental (operating under Eaze Auto Trade), Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. By submitting a booking enquiry or entering into a rental agreement, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms.

1Introduction & Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Eaze Auto Trade (“Eaze Car Rental”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“Renter”, “you”) for the rental of motor vehicles.
These Terms apply to all bookings made via our website, WhatsApp, telephone, or any other channel. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full.
Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. The version published on our website at the time of booking shall govern the rental transaction.
2Driver Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to rent a vehicle, the following conditions must be met:
- The renter must be at least 21 years of age. Certain vehicle categories (luxury, performance, MPV 9-seater and above) may require a minimum age of 25 years.
- The renter must hold a valid Malaysian driving licence (JPJ) that has been held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Foreign nationals must hold a valid driving licence from their country of origin and an International Driving Permit (IDP) where applicable under Malaysian law.
- The renter must not have been disqualified from driving or convicted of a serious traffic offence within the preceding 5 years.
- Additional drivers must meet the same eligibility criteria and must be declared at the time of booking.
- Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to decline any rental at its sole discretion.
3Booking & Reservation Policy
All bookings are treated as enquiries until confirmed in writing (via WhatsApp or email) by Eaze Car Rental. A booking is only confirmed upon:
- Receipt of the agreed security deposit (where applicable); and
- Written confirmation from Eaze Car Rental of vehicle availability and rental terms.
Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to substitute a confirmed vehicle with one of equivalent or higher specification if the original vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical issues, accidents, or operational requirements. We will notify you as soon as practicable.
Multiple enquiries may be received for the same vehicle and dates. Priority is given on a first-confirmed (deposit-paid) basis. Pending enquiries without confirmed deposits do not constitute a guaranteed reservation.
4Pricing & Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing Disclaimer
Prices displayed on our website, marketing materials, or shared verbally represent the base vehicle rental rate only. They do not constitute the final quotation.
The final quotation is provided after confirmation of:
- Rental duration
- Vehicle selected
- Pickup and delivery location
- Insurance coverage selected
- Any requested add-ons or accessories
- Applicable peak period or special event surcharges
- Any operational charges (e.g., after-hours delivery, airport surcharge)
Please refer to the final written quotation for the complete and binding price before confirming your booking.
4.2 Payment
- Payment may be made via bank transfer, online payment, or other methods agreed upon with Eaze Car Rental.
- Full rental payment is generally required prior to vehicle handover unless otherwise agreed.
- Eaze Car Rental does not accept post-dated cheques.
- All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable GST/SST where required by law.
5Security Deposit Policy
A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The amount varies based on the vehicle category:
- Economy / Hatchback / Sedan: RM 200 – RM 500
- SUV / MPV: RM 300 – RM 800
- Luxury / Performance: RM 1,000 – RM 5,000 (or as specified in the quotation)
The security deposit is held to cover any damages, traffic summons, fuel shortfalls, late return charges, or any other outstanding amounts at the time of vehicle return. Any unused portion will be refunded within 7 business days following vehicle return and inspection, subject to clearance of all outstanding obligations.
In the event of damage, loss, or other liability exceeding the deposit amount, the Renter remains responsible for the full outstanding balance.
6Insurance Coverage & Liability
6.1 Standard Coverage
All vehicles in the Eaze Car Rental fleet are covered by a third-party motor insurance policyas required under Malaysian law. This covers third-party bodily injury and property damage liability.
6.2 Comprehensive Insurance
Certain vehicles in our fleet carry comprehensive insurance coverage. Where comprehensive coverage applies, it is subject to the insurer's standard terms, conditions, exclusions, and excess/deductible amounts. Details will be disclosed in the rental agreement.
6.3 Renter Liability
Notwithstanding insurance coverage, the Renter is personally liable for:
- Any insurance excess or deductible amount applicable to a claim;
- Damage caused by negligence, reckless driving, or breach of these Terms;
- Damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances;
- Damage to the vehicle's interior, tyres, wheels, and underbody unless covered by a specific add-on;
- Any loss or damage arising from use of the vehicle for prohibited purposes;
- Loss of use of the vehicle while it undergoes repair (assessed on a daily rate basis).
7Accident & Emergency Procedures
In the event of an accident or emergency, the Renter must:
- Ensure the safety of all persons involved. Call 999 immediately if there are injuries.
- Do not move the vehicle unless it poses a safety hazard or is required by the police.
- Contact Eaze Car Rental immediately at +60 17-723 0727.
- Obtain a police report within 24 hours, regardless of the severity of the accident.
- Do not admit liability, make any promises, or negotiate settlement with any third party on behalf of Eaze Car Rental.
- Obtain the names, contact details, NRIC/passport numbers, vehicle registration, and insurance details of all parties involved.
- Provide photographs of all vehicles, the scene, and any damage sustained.
- Submit all documentation to Eaze Car Rental within 48 hours of the incident.
Failure to comply with the above procedures may result in the Renter being held fully liable for all costs arising from the accident, including repair costs and loss of use.
8Vehicle Usage & Prohibited Activities
8.1 Permitted Use
The vehicle may only be used for lawful personal or commercial transportation purposes within Peninsular Malaysia, unless prior written approval has been obtained for travel to East Malaysia (Sabah/Sarawak) or other territories.
8.2 Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any controlled substance;
- Use of the vehicle for racing, competitive events, or off-road driving;
- Subletting, re-renting, or allowing any non-declared person to drive the vehicle;
- Use of the vehicle for illegal activities of any nature;
- Transporting hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials;
- Modifying or tampering with the vehicle in any way;
- Towing or pushing other vehicles without prior approval;
- Smoking inside the vehicle (a cleaning surcharge applies if breached);
- Travelling outside of Peninsular Malaysia without prior written consent;
- Operating the vehicle while fatigued or otherwise impaired.
Breach of any prohibited activity may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, forfeiture of the deposit, and full liability for all resulting costs.
9Vehicle Return & Condition
The vehicle must be returned:
- On or before the agreed return date and time;
- To the agreed return location;
- In the same condition as at the time of collection, subject to fair wear and tear;
- With the same fuel level as at collection (or a refuelling charge will apply);
- With all accessories, documents, and keys provided at the time of collection.
A joint inspection will be conducted at the time of return. Any damage noted during this inspection that was not present at the time of collection will be assessed and charged accordingly. Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to conduct a secondary inspection after cleaning and, if additional damage is discovered, to raise a charge within 7 days of return.
Any personal belongings left in the vehicle are the sole responsibility of the Renter. Eaze Car Rental accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal items.
10Late Return Policy & Penalties
If the vehicle is not returned by the agreed return time, a late return charge will apply:
- Up to 1 hour late: RM 30 – RM 100 per hour (varies by vehicle category)
- More than 1 hour late: An additional full day's rental rate will be charged
- More than 24 hours late without communication: Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to report the vehicle as unlawfully retained and engage appropriate legal action
If you anticipate returning the vehicle late, please contact us immediately at +60 17-723 0727. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and may be arranged at the applicable daily rate.
11Cancellation & Refund Policy
The following cancellation policy applies to confirmed bookings (where a deposit has been paid):
- More than 7 days before pickup: Full deposit refund, less a RM 30 administrative fee
- 3 – 7 days before pickup: 50% deposit refund
- Less than 72 hours before pickup: No refund of deposit
- No-show (without prior notice): Full deposit forfeiture; any pre-paid rental fees are non-refundable
Cancellations must be communicated in writing via WhatsApp or email. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, force majeure, etc.). In such cases, a full refund of all amounts paid will be provided, or an alternative vehicle offered at no additional charge.
12Traffic Summons & Fines Responsibility
The Renter is solely responsible for all traffic summons, parking fines, toll charges, and other penalties incurred during the rental period, regardless of when the notice is received.
If a summons or fine is received by Eaze Car Rental after the rental period:
- We will notify you via WhatsApp or email;
- You are required to settle the outstanding amount within 14 days of notification;
- An administrative handling fee of RM 50 per summons will be charged;
- If the outstanding amount is not settled within 30 days, Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to deduct the amount (plus handling fee) from your deposit or pursue recovery through legal channels.
13Fuel Policy
All vehicles are provided with a specified fuel level at the time of collection (typically full tank or as noted in the rental agreement). The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at collection, a refuelling charge will apply at market fuel price plus a RM 20 service fee.
The Renter is responsible for ensuring the correct fuel type is used. Damage caused by misfuelling is not covered by insurance and the full cost of repair will be borne by the Renter.
14Vehicle Breakdown & Maintenance
In the event of a breakdown or mechanical failure not caused by the Renter:
- Contact Eaze Car Rental immediately at +60 17-723 0727;
- Do not authorise any third-party repairs without prior approval from Eaze Car Rental;
- Eaze Car Rental will arrange roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle as soon as practicable.
Eaze Car Rental shall not be liable for any consequential loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from vehicle breakdown, including but not limited to accommodation, alternative transport, or lost business.
The Renter must check oil, coolant, and tyre pressure regularly during extended rentals and report any warning lights or unusual noises to Eaze Car Rental immediately.
15Privacy Notice
Eaze Car Rental collects and processes personal data (including name, NRIC/passport, driving licence, contact details, and payment information) for the purpose of:
- Processing and managing rental bookings;
- Communicating with you regarding your rental;
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;
- Internal record-keeping and analytics.
Your personal data will not be sold or disclosed to third parties except where required by law or for the purpose of processing insurance claims.
By proceeding with a booking, you consent to being contacted via WhatsApp and email for booking confirmations, updates, and service-related communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by notifying us in writing.
We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.
16Fleet Availability Disclaimer
Vehicle availability displayed on our website is indicative only and is subject to change without notice. Availability is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Eaze Car Rental following your booking enquiry.
A vehicle shown as “Currently Reserved — Request Availability” indicates that the vehicle has existing confirmed bookings. You may still submit an enquiry — our team will review your request and notify you of alternatives or cancellations.
Eaze Car Rental does not guarantee the availability of any specific vehicle and reserves the right to substitute vehicles of equivalent or higher specification where necessary.
17Pricing Disclaimer
All prices displayed on the Eaze Car Rental website, marketing materials, and verbal quotations represent base vehicle rental rates only and do not constitute the final price.
Final rental prices may vary based on one or more of the following factors:
- Actual rental duration;
- Pickup and delivery location (including delivery surcharges);
- Insurance coverage selected;
- Optional add-ons and accessories;
- Peak periods, public holidays, and special event surcharges;
- Operational charges (e.g., after-hours, airport surcharge);
- Any applicable government taxes or levies.
A complete and binding final quotation will be provided in writing before you are required to confirm or pay for your booking.
18General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the final written quotation and rental agreement, constitute the entire agreement between Eaze Car Rental and the Renter. Any prior representations, warranties, or understandings are superseded by this agreement.
18.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
18.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18.4 Amendments
Eaze Car Rental reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at eazecarrental.com/terms-and-conditions. Continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We aim to resolve all disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating any legal proceedings.
